Weaned on the alternative Rock of the Nineties and merging some of the vitality, heaviness and etherial elements of the Deftones with the Punk Rock energy of Hole,
Die So Fluid paint a dark, harmonic and passionate soundscape whilst feeding off the raw aggression of The Stooges.

Grog (bass/vocals) and Drew Richards (guitar), former core members of notable Goth/Rock underground favourites ‘FELINE’, joined forces with Keith Moon-inspired ex-Gigantic drummer Al Fletcher in London, where the three-piece have recorded an incred-

ible body of songs with producer Pat Collier – original bassist with the legendary Vibrators, whose credits include Primal Scream and the Jesus and Mary Chain.

Tearing up the UK club circuit, and the band are already gathering considerable interest in The U.S., having supported the likes of Drowning Pool, Vex Red, Rachel Stamp, The Wildhearts and Boy Hits Car. Their debut release, “Operation Hypocrite”, was awarded ‘single of the week’ on the Radio One Rock Show  hosted by Mary Anne Hobbs, and more recently “Disconnected” topped the TotalRock listeners chart for 2 weeks.

The trio’s attitude is to “use Metal and don’t lose Punk”. Hard-edged yet strongly melodic, raw yet individual, this band leave both compromise and stereotypes far behind.
Their long-awaited debut Album, “Spawn Of Dysfunction” is due out in July 2004.

DIE SO FLUID’S NEW SINGLE, “DISCONNECTED” (SLON 1cd), IS OUT NOW

“I like that… Actually, I really  like that!” – Claire Sturgess, XFM.

THIS IS DARKPUNK” they gleefully exclaim – but that’s just scratching the surface. C64 are everything you no longer expect bands to be. Exciting, angular, and genuinely different, hearing them for the first time can be a shock. Their strong sense of melodic guitar-driven songwriting combined with a ‘pixies-esque’ quirkiness earned them an XFM session long before the prospect of a record release.

C64 are (right to left) Ed (vocals), Ingri (Drums), James (Bass) and Dan (guitar). Having stolen the show at last years “The Future Of Rock ‘n Roll” live showcase event, the band supported the Yeah Yeah Yeahs at the London Astoria on 4th March 2003.

The band’s debut release, “Broken Art”, should be out in early summer. Expect something wonderful…
